Justin Metcalf is a Vice President and Founding Partner with Rocky Mountain Development Group.  Justin is the director of acquisitions, senior underwriter and project manager for RMDG.  Justin also plays a major role in identifying potential equity partners, as well as overseeing RMDG’s  asset management program. Justin holds a Bachelors degree in Business Finance from the University of Montana.

Justin’s most recent project was the development and continued oversight of the RMDG straight acquisition model; purchasing LIHTC properties out of their initial 15 year compliance period using government backed loans and private equity. Justin has structured and/or been directly involved in over $90MM of straight acquisitions since implementing the model.

Prior to joining RMDG, Justin served as the financial advisor for new business development at the Montana World Trade Center. Justin also has experience in, and an in-depth understanding of, the physical systems and components of apartment complexes and the associated renovations and repairs needed to maintain or renovate them.  

Justin currently serves on the board of directors for the Missoula Symphony Association, is a Member and Paul Harris Fellow of the Missoula Sunrise Rotary and serves pro-bono for a number of local start-up businesses.

When not in the office Justin likes to take advantage of the many outdoor and cultural opportunities in Missoula and western Montana.
