Rick Wishcamper is a founding partner and the President of Rocky Mountain Development Group, Inc. Rick is responsible for equity investor development, the formulation of the company’s investment strategy and oversight of its development activities. He also spends considerable time as an acquisition specialist and project manager for RMDG’s tax credit acquisition strategy.
In addition to tax credit work, Rick works with other unique capital sources and a variety of local stakeholders to structure creative deal opportunities. Most recently Rick succeeded in securing Neighborhood Stabilization Funds (NSP) for a 115 unit new construction project in Missoula, MT. Rick also worked with the NSP program in Mississippi to completely renovate 100 units of HUD foreclosed Section 8 housing.
Prior to working in the field of real estate development, Rick taught entrepreneurship and strategic management at the University of Montana School of Business.
Rick currently serves on the boards of several Missoula non-profit organizations, including Garden City harvest, the Missoula Family YMCA and the Mayor’s Council on Affordable Housing.
Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in human ecology from the College of the Atlantic, a Master’s in Business from The University of Montana, and a Master’s in Fine Arts from New England College.
When not in the office Rick enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, trail running and reading.
